CLUSTER is pleased to congratulate Dr Stephanie Shoop-Worrall, one of our project post-doctoral researchers at the University of Manchester (Centre for Health Informatics & Centre for Epidemiology Versus Arthritis), who has been successful in securing a 5 year MRC Career Development Fellowship.

Her project: ‘Unlock PsA: Stratifying the Impact of Psoriatic Arthritis in Children and Adults’, is a great example of how data science can bridge between paediatric and adult rheumatology, bringing together data across the life span in this rare disease.  This is a fantastic achievement for Stevie and an important outcome for UK JIA research and the longer term sustainability of CLUSTER’s research.  Well done Stevie!

We have additional good news for Stevie too, this time in the form of another fantastic publication! With the CLUSTER Champions, Stevie spoke to Healio Rheumatology about how her research found adolescents wait longer than younger children to see paediatric rheumatologist for JIA. Read the article here.
